Well I finally got to run the camaro at M10 and considering that its running a little rich and on street tires i am VERY happy for my times.

I only got to make two runs before my 3 day old altenator took a dump on me!!! YES I SAID 3 days old. ProStart alternators are GARBAGE this is the third altenator that ive installed in less than 3 months and i don't even have a huge stereo system.

Well after looking for hours and talking to just about everyone at M10 trying to find an alternator, I ran into Jason Debler's wife/fiancee/GF (im not sure and sorry i forgot your name) and she took me up to the tower to see Jason and with his help i called a few more parts stores but , The CLOSEST place i could find an alternator that would get me home (96 caprice altenator) was 22 miles away and mine was only charging to 11 volts at the time so we decided to chance it.

We got within 2 miles before the alternator FINALLY let go all the way.

Thanks to Dan, who was trailering his GN home, for the ride to the AUTOZONE in ithica, I really appreciate the help.

Thanks To Shawn From C.A.R.S. inc, who was trailering his VERY VERY nice 3rd gen camaro home, for the battery recharge/jump and for your help, i really appreciate it.

Thanks again to Jason D. and his significant other (IM REALLY SORRY I FORGOT YOUR NAME!!!! ) For actually keeping an eye out for me on your way home and actually stopping to check on us and make sure everything was okay.

It was an awesome sight to see when i was putting my alternator back on my car, First Shawn showed up, then a few people that he was traveling with then Jason and a couple more cars, after everyone that stopped to check on me there were like 10 cars pulled over.



Thats why I am happy and proud I belong to a Community like this. It really shows how much everyone on here really cares about the others on this site. I could't have gotten home (a 150 mile drive) without the help and support of the CamaroZ28.com community!!!!

I couldn't nail a cosistant time all weekend 13.16 was my best.
