I need some INFO on these tires---PLEASE

I want to get a set of Goodyear F1 Super car tires
in size 245/40/18
But write up says preasure sensor REQUIRED.... does that mean I cant get them unless I have one??
they are run flats. but as long as I get my lazy butt outta of the car and check 'em it ought to be OK.

May have a problem getting them mounted, since you don't have a air pressure wanring system. Liabilty issues....

Nice crying face behind the liability issues.

Say someone's driving along with a runflat tire and no Tire Pressure Monitoring System, the tire loses pressure and the driver doesn't recognize this due to the fact that its a runflat tire. The tire overheats to great levels due to having no air in it and then comes apart tossing the car into the other lane killing the driver in the car along with a family.

Where would the liability issues lie and who would be crying.

Bharnz, to answer your question, you absolutely have to have a TPM system to have a runflat tire for your safety and that of others. See my post above.

No company will install these tires on your vehicle without having a TPM system.
