Use these for the tires for the strip.

Could I run these on my stock salad shooters at the drag strip. The size looks right to me but I was wondering if running these would make much difference in my time, because the hook up on my car sucks. Also would I run the risk of tearing up my rear end.

Re: Use these for the tires for the strip.

I plan on buying me a set of vette rims. I want to run 275's up front and 315 in the rear. But since I won't be able to rotate that combo I don't really want to use the 315"s at the strip unless I have too. I don't know if that would be better or not though. Opinions on that welcome also. 255 et's verses 315's to race with.

I just put those on my Z28 on the stock rims, they said in the book, they will fit from a 8.5 to a 10 in. rim. They look bad as hell, and just driving around town they grab real good, Monday they are coming off, they be my Sunday go to meeting tires
