Howdy y'all, just wonderin who here would want to own a Crossfire SRT-6 and how much would you be willing to pay for it?

I would love to own one just because they are so unique.

No and nothing. Not a fan. I would take a Dodge Ram or a Viper. Otherwise, not a big late model Mopar fan. Old Charger, yadda yadda, different story....

+1

Now a new Z06... I'd have to say I'd give my left nut for one of those. :D

Call me crazy, but the Crossfire looks like a turtle from the rear...

...and their PT Cruiser looks like a rat from the front.

:D

There's a guy that autocrosses with us that has one. I drove his first Crossfire before he got the SRT6 and wasn't too impressed. It's just a Mercedes with a body kit. It leans more toward the luxury side than the performance side. At the first hint of a tire about to loose traction it takes over and you have diminished braking and throttle abilities. BTW - That's with the traction control turned off too. So if you're 60 and want to be able to look good and hold your own from stop light to stop light it's the car for you. But for anyone wanting to actually control the car through an oversteer every now and then, you'll hate it.

I'd take an SRT6 in a heartbeat. I think they look great. I'm not sure I'd pay much for it. New, I suppose it might be worth 25-30k to me, but I'm not in the market for a new car, so that doesn't really mean anything. I wouldn't pay much more than 10k for a used one, ever.

it is. one of the car magazines said it is the last generation of one of the MB platforms, so basically, it's a poor man's technologically OBE hot rod.

when they up grade the MB platform, the cross fire will get a new (the old MB) platform.
