35th anniversary wheel clones

Anyone ever thougt of making 35th anniv. wheels out of the ss ten spoke chrome rims. I was thinking just some strategic sanding then ready for paint. They would be chrome and black instead of polished.

I believe that under the paint of the 10 spokes, there is a machined face. Theoretically you just need to strip the paint, paint the inside black, and there you go.

i am currently in the process of doing 35th anniv. clone wheels but with a twist for a project car i am building. ;)

they arn't polished they're machined. That's a brushed aluminum kind of look and really doesn't require polishing. Only problem is it isn't as shiny as chrome. not as heavy either...
