Anyone ever thougt of making 35th anniv. wheels out of the ss ten spoke chrome rims. I was thinking just some strategic sanding then ready for paint. They would be chrome and black instead of polished.

CrabhartZ28 10-08-2005, 01:15 AM I believe that under the paint of the 10 spokes, there is a machined face. Theoretically you just need to strip the paint, paint the inside black, and there you go. chuckys95 10-08-2005, 01:35 AM I believe that under the paint of the 10 spokes, there is a machined face. CrabhartZ28 10-09-2005, 12:53 AM I think they would look pretty good chrome and black instead of polished. they arn't polished they're machined. That's a brushed aluminum kind of look and really doesn't require polishing. Only problem is it isn't as shiny as chrome. not as heavy either... | ||
