Looks like my alternator bit the dust- I have MSD ignition, blater coil, and both cooling fans hardwired, no stereo amps involved- all of this running at once seems to suck some power. I would assume bumping up to a 140 amp alternator would be sufficient- Agree/ Disagree? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Upgrading it would be a good idea, also don't forget to upgrade the battery. It take alot of the load too, a weak battery means that alternator will have to worak a lot harder...
Try an Optima dry cell...pricey, but you get what you pay for here..

id say go for it, get the more powerful alt, get an optima, and while your at it you could replace all your ground wires and power wires too, corroded connections are bad

I put a Powermaster 140 amp alternator in the Vette. It's great, check them out. Here is a basic link but you'll need to contact them for correct fitment and pricing.
