Alternator Replacement????ZDADDY92 10-02-2005, 11:11 PM Looks like my alternator bit the dust- I have MSD ignition, blater coil, and both cooling fans hardwired, no stereo amps involved- all of this running at once seems to suck some power. I would assume bumping up to a 140 amp alternator would be sufficient- Agree/ Disagree? Any info is appreciated. It take alot of the load too, a weak battery means that alternator will have to worak a lot harder... Try an Optima dry cell...pricey, but you get what you pay for here..
