Yokohama Tires?

245/50-16
Yokohama AVS ES100

That is what Discount Tire Direct recommended to be but at $106 a tire i need to get some of your guys' opinions before purchasing them for myself.

Oh yes, the tires are for a 89 Pontiac Firebird. The current wheels on it are 16s.

i liked my yokos but they didnt last for piss
they are some of the better handling tires i have had
they hooked ok for a street tire and where great through the turns
mine didnt last me a solid year though

Know of any tires that will last that are worth the money?

on cars like ours, they suck ass

and ive got them in 275/35/18...even narrower will be even worse

and ive heard lots of complaints at work about their noise level

but when it comes to tires, you definetly get what you pay for
