Alignment Questions

When getting an alignment done does that just straighten up the wheels, or can that move them forwad a bit?

After putting new wheels and tires on my car I knew the alignment was off, its very easy to see. But it looks like the passenger side wheel is more pushed back or closer to the wheel well.

That would be your caster. The caster is what moves the wheel forward or backward in the wheelwell. And yes, it can, and should be corrected.

Yes, that's part of an alignment. Camber, caster, and toe is what they will check and correct if it's out of factory spec.
