longer studs for a fourth genDontMixWithRice 09-23-2005, 11:55 AM do any of you know the part number for getting longer studs for disc brake 4th gens? sssalah 09-23-2005, 12:42 PM ARP 100-7708 is the right part number for this application, they come in pack of five. DontMixWithRice 09-23-2005, 12:50 PM thank you kindly... I have rims that are not hubcentric....therefore I need spacers....which ultimately mean that I need to get longer studs.... we shall see how this turns out! thanks again CANTONRACER 09-23-2005, 01:41 PM You can get 68 mm wheel studs from GM for $1.25 a piece. Injuneer 09-23-2005, 02:22 PM You can get 68 mm wheel studs from GM for $1.25 a piece. Are they the same ones Lingenfelter sells for $2.50? Do they have the ~0.60" of extra unthreaded length on the ends? The ones Lingenfelter sells are a bit of a PITA when you take the Weld drag wheels off and put the street wheels back on: http://cjcfo.fbody.com/members/injuneerzz@aol.com/PhotosJ/DCP02502.jpg CANTONRACER 09-23-2005, 03:06 PM Yeah..that looks like what I pressed in though I had no issues with putting rims on the car. The part # 22551491 that any vendor here that sells GM parts can supply. nosfed 09-25-2005, 06:48 PM Moser sells them as well and they don't have the unthreaded end. I think mine were $20 for a set from summit. CANTONRACER 09-25-2005, 09:12 PM I have bought them in the past also...though the Moser one's were longer than the GM ones... | ||
