How bad is it to install a shift kit on the 460le? And what one would you suggest?

I put in a Trans-Go kit in my GMC truck last year. It wasn't that hard, but you will definitely want the car up high enough so you can work under it comfortably. I didn't have that problem with the truck. Before you decide, see what you have to do to remove the servo that's on the passenger side of the transmission. On the truck, I had to drop the y-pipe/cat. conv. to get access to it. On a Camaro/Firebird, I bet it's really close to the transmission tunnel. Once you get the valve body out, have a good place to disassemble it and spread out the parts. Mark everything carefully, a lot of those springs and valve spools look the same. And, oh yeah, the instructions that came with the kit are really poor. But, once it was back together, the results were worth it. :D
