When I'm in traffic and am doing stop and go, or when I'm waiting to make a turn in an intersection or something, my LOW TRAC light comes on when I apply the brakes lightly. I then feel a pulsating motion which lasts for a few seconds.
As for my ABS light, it comes on sometimes right after I start the car. To get rid of it, I just turn the car off and restart it like a crappy computer. But now, it comes on more often....what should i do?
Thank you,
Dave

I had a roughly the same problem you have a couple of years ago. My ABS Inop light would come on, my LOW TRAC would come on, and the ASR off light would come on even though I did not switch it off. Sometimes they would come on and stay on when I started the car. Other times they would just come on while I was driving for no reason. Restarting the car helped but it did nothing solve the problem. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the ABS and traction control sensors. Fortunately my car was under warranty so they fixed them at no cost. Your problem sounds similar to mine but even if it's not there is no reason your ABS light should stay on after you start the car, it should only stay on for a few seconds. You need to get your car checked. Hopefully your still covered under warranty. Good luck!

Mine just started doing that the other day. Luckily my car is still in warranty. I sort of wondered what triggered the problem, since they were working fine one day, and the next they were pretending to be MIA. The only thing I can think of is that we had a real good cold snap (dropped 25 degrees in 24 hours) which may have gotten some water/ice in there doing some no good. Oh well, at least I have some place to start looking when the car goes on the lift tonight.
I sorta miss the ABS on the crappy Radial TA's I am running right now... they dont stop for $hit !

I'm not under warranty. It's a used 96 Z28 auto, 2.73. I'm gonna have to do all of this fixing myself if it's a faulty sensor. Can anyone give me any advice,
Thanks,
David
