Hey guys!
I just picked up an '83 Z28 w/t-tops this past Sunday over in St. Pete for only.... $500 :D I absolutely LOVE my new Z28, engine is great as far as I can tell, however I am in need of some minor body/interior work... anyone know of a way I can get this done rather inexpensively?
Thanks a lot!

Uh, do as much as you can yourself? Labor is most of the cost of anything. Front fenders can be replaced about as cheap as a couple hours labor. Same with a hood. Ebay for interior stuff is a good way. Also, you can clean, prep and paint interior stuff. New carpeting, mats, seat covers, and headliner and you are like new.
Try it. These ares are easy to work on! :)

stick or auto?
there were only ~3500 made in 83 with the LG4 (high output) 305 and the 5 speed tranny.
welcome to the forum, you'll love it here. some good guys, great advice, and you already got offers to help!
what rear end? the australain 9 bolt (9 bolts and rubber plug) with disks?
or drum?
my 9 bolt was whining like crazy with hi miles (150k?)
but man, that was fun car.

Wow, thanks guys! To answer some questions... I am over in New Port Richey which is about an hour north of Tampa. The '83 that I own is unfortunately, an automatic transmission, but this thing flies nonetheless. Any help I can get fixing this up - totally appreciated! I'm lovin it here! :D
