Shoot man, this is pathetic. Maybe you and I will have to meet up somewhere around the Colorado River and go crusing.

I can't believe this section is so damn dead. Nobody ever gets together, nobody ever cruises. Rarely hear about anything. Now that I finally have another Z28, it would be nice to meet some people from around here and do something once in a while. Pretty sad when the only other guy you see wanting to do something is 300+ miles away.

Re: Arizona

There are quite a few romeing around, I live off Chaperell and Hayden in Scottsdale. Though my car sits in tempe as there isnt enough room at my house for it and it dosent seem to want to pass emissions

Crusing may be an option if i ever feel like messing with it, maybe soon as it sould start getting nicer out.

However if meeting up with real live people is what you want, you're better off heading to the Pavillions on a Saturday niight(Indian Bend and the 101 in Scottsdale). This time of year there's usually a good turnout for F-bodies and people more than willling to socialize.

Well back in the day before I got old married and my hair started turning gray, we all used to cruise Central Ave, however the local law enforcement in Phoenix and surrounding 'burbs decided they didn't want to deal with any traffic and other issues so the pretty much squashed cruising in general. 2 time a year they relax for the central cruise (it's in ocotober) it's a huge show and welll worth the drive into downtown for it.
Your best bet for meeting anyone on a regular basis is the Saturday show and shine at the Pavillions (it's pretty big) or is you want to drive a bit there's one that's getting larger by the week near 83rd Ave and Beardsley.
I used to frequent these shows, however as of late if I show up at either more than once every 2 months it's a record.

Definitly, I actualy might go to the pavillions this weekend. Its a pretty cool car get togeather. Shoot you dont live far at all, its a quick trip up the 101. None of my buddies really drive F-bodys though, but we all have something fast so crusing could be fun.

Jared
No I sold that one, but i do have another complete long block sittin in its place I have been thinking of selling. Actualy I have been thinking of parting out the whole car. I am in need of a new R6 and already have too many toys and its a split between the car or the dirtbike.
