Re: Why no Opel Astra?

Import that sucker as the new Pontiac Vibe. Would make a nice sporty ride to use at work

Re: Why no Opel Astra?

Take the headlights and grill off the Opel Antera and put them on the current Astra and you have the next ION.

Not sure if it's going to be the Ion or not, but you will see it in Saturn dealers very soon.

No, not likely imported, but made here.

Re: Why no Opel Astra?

That's the kind of car, or like the cobalt, and mazda3, civic that I would buy for my daughter when she reaches her driving age (time flies and it won't be long before she does).

Prior to this year, there isn't much in the GM stable that I would consider for her but times is certainly changing. At one point, I would not have considered a car like Hyundai, but now, my POV has changed regarding Hyundai. I see Saturn the same way also. I would not have looked at a Saturn before (and even now) but I think that may change with the Sky, Aura and this "Astra".
