I have some spots on my stock 5 stars that look yellow or Lite orange. :(
kinda like chrome headers.
But by no means that bad.
What can I use to get rid of the yellowing?
I tried Mothers Mag and aluminum polish.
But that did nothing at all.
So what can I use?
Thanks,

Before I painted mine, I used accetone (your wife's nail polish remover if she has a full bottle) on them and it took off all of the clear coat or whatever it is that they have on them. Once the clear coat came off they looked so good I almost didn't paint them. But I did, and now Im going to tke the paint off again. Oh well.
***Edit:*** Oops. I just noticed it said "chrome". They probably don't have a clear on them, so that probably wont work. I'd try it anyway though because I'm dumb like that. I don't know if it would mess them up or not.

Well thanks anyway. :)
I am going to call a rim shop and see what they say about.
They should know what to do about.
I was talking to somebody else here about it he wanted me to take a picture of it but it won't show up on the little cam I have.
But thanks anyway. :D
I heard somebody say there is a clear powder coat?
If so I might have that done the chrome rims need a lot more attention than the car to clean.

Question, why did you use aluminum polish on your chrome wheels?

Because it was handy.
I just used it on the part that was kinda yellowing.
But it did nothing and did not scratch the rim at all.
I used some turtle wax Chrome Polish on them that made them shine really good. :)
But did nothing for the spots.
