Gord's Green Z28 09-08-2005, 09:02 PM Chris, wouldn't it be easier to just have your car vandalized again rather than find your old webpage?
Gord's Green Z28 09-08-2005, 09:06 PM Kentucky Derby Debler, are you going to put the SilverStar headlights on the Camaro like you have on the Jeep?
ChrisFrez 09-08-2005, 09:08 PM 1st one was better
I agree. I promise they'll be better :)

JasonD 09-08-2005, 09:17 PM Kentucky Derby Debler, are you going to put the SilverStar headlights on the Camaro like you have on the Jeep?
Zenyatta Mondatta Gord,
Probably...haven't gotten around to that. I am doing some other stuff with the headlights first.
And my Jeep...yep...didn't even mention it. The show was running long as it is. I'll try to cover it in the next one. Perhaps you'd like to use Skype to call my PC and leave a message reminding me? *hint*hint*
Threxx 09-08-2005, 09:35 PM I've listened to both and liked them both OK. Y'all really do sound good for a couple of amatures. I could listen to you on a local FM station and would probably think of y'all as amature DJs, but I wouldn't be like "Who the hell put these idiots on the air??":D
I think you should do a section where people call in and flame me - the token import dork.:D:p
GT KILLER 09-08-2005, 09:42 PM I agree. I promise they'll be better :)

revtime 09-10-2005, 08:17 PM I see you hid the amp where the spare tire was.
Someone must have known it was there, sounds like an inside job to me. :(
I have mine mounted in there as well and know one knows it but me. :)

No, actually I had a custom amp rack that was in my back hatch. I think the only reason my tire well was open was the shop had to use my spare tire to put on my car, along with some other tires they could scrounge up because all my tires were stolen too.
what makes the show a pod cast? because it is an .mp3?

ZMAN Z28 09-13-2005, 07:25 PM Strippers, we need strippers. Get some strippers to rate different cams. How they sound.

JasonD 09-13-2005, 08:04 PM Strippers, we need strippers. Get some strippers to rate different cams. How they sound.
If we have strippers, I am not going to be wasting time by talking into a microphone.
FormulaLT1Power 09-13-2005, 09:02 PM I too liked the 1st one more. Cut em shorter...18 min is way too long. Also, when talking about some topics...don't spend forever on them, make em brief. I would add things going on around the world more...Hurrican Katrina, NFL, War on Terror...your OPINIONS is what is going to make people come back. As I've heard before...you either love or a hate a talk show host(s). Keep em coming though. Thanks guys.
ws6transam 09-13-2005, 09:11 PM #2 is just fine. I liked hearing about your cars.
As for opinions on world events, I'd suggest sticking to automotive related news. For current world events, I'd rather log in on MSNBC or something.
How about some current events like, say, who is making the latest big power with the LSx powertrain? I read in Hot Rod about a turbocharged street camaro with 850 RWHP. What's up with that? How about an interview with a quasi-famous CZ28.COM member that made the automotive news recently? You know, like if someone took a trophy at thundernationals, or someone who might have gotten their car in a magazine?
What about advertising for M10?
Interview your supporting vendors: Offer a special vendor IPOD discount for those listeners that stick it through the whole podcast.
JasonD 09-13-2005, 09:57 PM I too liked the 1st one more. Cut em shorter...18 min is way too long.
Yep, as we mentioned, they will normally be 10 minutes or so.
Also, when talking about some topics...don't spend forever on them, make em brief.
With 10 mintues to work with, we almost don't have a choice. :)
I would add things going on around the world more...Hurrican Katrina, NFL, War on Terror...
We might mention them once in a while, but we honestly want to focus on car-related things.
Keep em coming though. Thanks guys.
We will, and thanks for the comments!

If we can get someone like that interested, I don't think we would turn them down. :) Once we settle in, we will line up interviews. We have a couple in the works already...
What about advertising for M10?
Mentioned in #3 but for those who might miss it...

Interview your supporting vendors:
Already looking into that!
Offer a special vendor IPOD discount for those listeners that stick it through the whole podcast.
Already talking about SOMETHING like that. Details to come...
95GRNZ 09-14-2005, 09:39 AM Just listened to #2. Nice work again.
We might mention them once in a while, but we honestly want to focus on car-related things.
Very good idea. And if sometimes you don't have enough car-related, or messageboard related, stuff to talk about, just take a break and do the next podcast when ever there's enough new stuff to talk about.
Keep up the good work. :thumb:
ws6transam 09-14-2005, 10:40 AM Matt Swindell is currently doing the Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week, I think. That ought to be interesting to hear about when he's done. I think he's a CZ28.com member~~
Brent94Z 09-23-2005, 04:56 AM Just listened to #2. Pretty cool :) I see you still remember the number of your ole SS there Jason :D Yep... those projects just seem to never get done do they ;)

Damn that must have sucked, I thought it was bad when my $400 stereo was stolen 8 years ago and the window busted in my ranger... They used tin snips to cut the dash. Of course mine never got replaced.
