Looking to run the 150 shot, what are the best plugs to run for a 150 shot of nitrous?

-LE 1 heads (flow around 262/183@.600 lift)

-LT1 ported intake with 58mm throttle bores

-LE 1 cam (Mid 220s duration, over .570 lift, less than a 110 LSA, just to give you an idea)

-ARP head bolts

-ARP 7/16 rocker arm studs

-ARP polylocs

-Comp 5/16 flat pushrod style guideplates

- NGK TR6 plugs

-COMP chromoly pushrods

-CSR Electric waterpump

-3600 Vigilante converter

-3.73 gears, on 10 bolt

-Transgo Shift kit

-hypertech 160 degree termostat

-groty 1 3/4 long tube headers

-summit X-pipe kit

-BBK 58 mm TB

-1.6 Comp pro mag 7/16 Rocker arms

-SVO 42 lb/hr injectors

-MSD window switch

-Cold Fusion fuel pressure safety switch

-walbro 255 fuel pump

-B&M trans cooler

-LT4 KM

-MSD ignition Coil

-UMI Lower Control Arms

-UMI panhard bar

-Moroso cold air intake

-BFG drag radials

-Clevite H main bearings

-Clevite H rod bearings

-Clevite cam bearings

-ARP main bolts

-Total Seal file to fit, ductile iron piston rings

-Moroso high volume oil pump

-GM tall polished valve covers

-Cold Fusion Nitrous kit (150 SHOT)

Currently, I am using the NGK TR6 plugs, part number NGK4177, are these a good plus for a 150 shot? I'm prolly going to change those after I break in the motor before I go to dynotune, what plugs should I get if those aren't the best plugs to run with nitrous?

I've had good luck w/ my TR6's. Looks like that's what you have been running; might as well keep using them.

hey just checked out your website... that RWTQ number is sick, hope my car is around that. Just out of curiosity, what low RPM pill are you using (the "ON" pill")? Judging by the dyno sheet, my guess would be around 3K, which is what I have. The reason why I ask is cuz I was thinking that 3K start pill might be to high, but if your pulling 60's like you are with a 3K, i think i'm definetly going to stick with that pill.

I forgot I still have that site linked. I don't think it has been updated in about 4 years (seriously).

I don't use "pills" anymore, as my Mallory Hyfire IV is all digital, and has a built in window switch. :) But I think I have it set on either 3300 or 3400 now; I'll have to double check tomorrow when I prep the car for Friday's track day (where I should improve that 60' by a good deal, as I'll finally take the car to a track that had someone prep it, rather than spitting on it and calling that track prep). My HP numbers were all internally stock on my site, so those don't really have much to do with my current power/setup.

Regardless, your current setup should be similar to mine motor wise w/ extra forged goodies, and probably a bit more power. For my 1.61 60', I launched the car at around 4000RPM, basically quickly letting out on the clutch, and going WOT into the spray at the same time. Seemed to work well. Friday, I'll probably try 5000RPM and go from there. Remember, with spray, the lower the RPM, the higher the torque, so as long as you are into the spray off the line, you should have plenty of torque to get you going quickly.

I definately wouldn't recommend spraying below 3k, and moved mine up just to be on the safe side (I'm already pushing my luck with my setup). I launch higher than that anyway, so no real benefit having it lower.

I also use the delco 42's gapped at between .035 and .040. The gap is obviously the most important thing as you don't what to be blowing out your spark. I've never had problems with these plugs.
