Does anyone know where to find the blockoff plates for the EGR and AIR system? The cheapest I can find are around $40-50 which I think is a total ripoff.

As far as I know, there aren't AIR block off plates, just for the EGR.

Go to a hardware store, buy a small plate of alum or steel and make your own. It isn't difficult.

I bought mine from www.ls1speed.com

Be sure to put some sort of gasket in with them, otherwise it will do you almost no good. I used a liquid RV type and it works perfectly

do you have to delete any codes when you remove your air and egr provisions?

DO you need a scaner or an autotap to disable those codes?

It is full editing and scanning software. If you've never tuned a car before, it may be a little more than you need right away, but after you figure out what your doing, it's well worth it. :) Either way, you'll need editing software if you going to change DTC codes. (which is what you need to do for getting past the state inspection crap, EGR, AIR, etc)
