i think snorman's point is that he wants to race you.. i would, on principals, drive a distance to race a certain person.. to settle some dispute or whatnot. i would not on the other hand go out of my way to race some friend of a friend of someone i have a beef with. as i recall from another post he thought you may be in jersey to race another dude.. erm, as he said it:

1. he wants to race YOUR car. not some person you know. it is painfully obvious to me what his intent is, why is it so hard for you to see?

2. his comment about bringing in his friend with an 8 second vette was sarcasm, lost on you apparently.

Hold on a second guys. Lets stay away from having drag only cars race some all hype civic. Gotbulls**t's civic should run something that is a street/strip combo so he will shut up once and for all. I dont care if its a mustang, camaro or a nova. Just something that runs in the 9's and is considered streetable. Trailer queens racing him just makes us look stupid. Besides, it wouldn't be a fair comparison. He obviously doesn't want to race. If he did he would name a time and place and I'm sure there would be somebody there to take him up on it. Ft lauderdale is not super big, all it would take is some pissed of cz28 member to see my car parked and go to town on it.Strangely, nobody on this site even knew he lived in Florida.

I actually was told my gotboost himself that he lived "somewhere" in Florida. I offered to race him upon completion of my project and he tried to set me up to race one of his "so called" friends. Looks to me like he is doing the same thing all over again. But he has beat cars with MUCH better setups than mine, so the fact that he lives in florida isn't the real reason :rolleyes: . He sent me a link of this integra, if I remember correctly. It looked like a full on race car, although he claims diffrent. Point is, I wasn't offering to race his friend. He will come back with some bull**** response to this and all Im gonna do is laugh. GOtboost no longer exists. He has proven to all of us that he is a BS artist. On to the next topic!

that "tiny" turbo is a sc61. it supports 680hp. secondly u dont even know if all I run is boost. Doesn't look like a 3" inlet, like the SC61xx's have, but hey, maybe my eyes are deceiving me.

Like other stated, you can prove your self by racing your car. Simple enough. I have a feeling there are more than enough people you have pissed off on this board that are local enough that they'd love to run you, and would be willing to waste some gas driving to get there. Just let people know that you'll be a track, or a non busy highway late one weekend, and anyone that wants some, can come and get it. That will solve this once and for all. :thumb:

Who says the vette is'nt a street car. Up here in New England 8 second street cars are'nt unheard of. ;) At the track in the Quick street class which is for street legal cars if your not in the 8's you wont even qualify in the top half of the ladder with some cars running 8.4's. Theres even a fox body coupe that has run 8.3@170 on BFG drag radials.
Accually there are more 8 second domestic street cars than 11 second honda street cars!!

I've accually seen him change what your quote accually was. A few months ago I told him I had a LS1 T/A. He asked me if it ran 6's. I sarcasticly said not yet. Then he quotes me, deletes what I posted and replaced it with me saying that" MY T/A WILL run 6's." :mad:
Then another time I told him that because there are so many 10 second F bodies, that seeing a 10 second one at the track is'nt that immpresive( unlike a 10 second Honda which is extermly rare). He then quotes it as me just saying that "10 second f bodies are'nt immpresive." :mad:
But we're all getting the last laugh with him unable to prove he has a fast car so that makes all of his posts invalid. Is this because of your decision to not make this happen, or someone else's? Like many have stated before, just meet up with some people, and if you got the right parts, you can drive, and your setup is as mean as you state it is, then you'll send them home with their tails between their legs. Post up a video, and make them eat some crow. It really is "THAT" simple.

What do you say? Be a man and salvage any hint of dignity you might have, or confirm everyone here's statements that you're a blow hard with nothing to back up your claims. ;)
