ChrisFrez 09-03-2005, 10:42 AM Give us some suggestions here. We're always up for some recommendations and stuff. We plan on doing some interviews in upcoming Podcasts with some people.
We also invite you to send us your questions that we can answer in the Podcast. Or, if you don't have a question and just wanna say "Yo" - that's cool too. What you can do is create a .wav or .mp3 file and e-mail it to either myself, or Jason. I can be reached at cfrezza@gmail.com and Jason at jdebler@gmail.com
Lot's and lots of cool things to come :)
lookingforwheels 09-03-2005, 09:25 PM Tell us more about the 5th Gen. Lie if you have to.
mthegodfather 09-03-2005, 09:28 PM I would really like to hear some of the newbie FAQ's on there. Yall could pic a subject that gets covered alot on here or frequently asked questions and answer them on there.
MotorCityNova572 09-04-2005, 11:39 AM i would like to hear up-dates on like drag racing..Like the NHRA and the IHRA....i dont always get to watch the races...and not just drag racing but NASCAR. the WRC..( World Rally Champ.)..OR EVEN BETTER YET.....IF you guys go to any races report LIVE from any race you goto...i think that would be cool
MarcR94v6 09-04-2005, 06:29 PM Nascar is more boring than watching paint dry.
lookingforwheels 09-04-2005, 07:22 PM Nascar is more boring than watching paint dry.
Sure is :)
unvc92camarors 09-04-2005, 11:15 PM How about Corvette Racing- ALMS style?
stars1010 09-05-2005, 12:46 AM See if y'all can get Scott Settlemire to do an interview with you.
kick Z tail out 09-05-2005, 08:24 AM See if y'all can get Scott Settlemire to do an interview with you.
That would be cool.
Cool stuff aside, I'd like to hear a C&J rap session. You guys are from Michigan, like Eminem ;)
JasonD 09-05-2005, 01:32 PM Tell us more about the 5th Gen. Lie if you have to.
Heheh...the last thing we want to do is perpetuate MORE false information about that. Even what we say in the Podcast #1 is mostly speculation or guesstimates.
I would really like to hear some of the newbie FAQ's on there. Yall could pic a subject that gets covered alot on here or frequently asked questions and answer them on there.
Yep, we are going to try to do a little tip in each Podcast.
i would like to hear up-dates on like drag racing..Like the NHRA and the IHRA....
That's a very cool idea, but we record the Podcasts in groups and then publish them later. By the time they get published, the racing news will be very out-of-date and somewhat useless. We try to keep the Podcasts around 10 minutes. #2 has been recorded and runs for over 18 minutes, which is a bit too long. The releases after that will not be near as long as that.
See if y'all can get Scott Settlemire to do an interview with you.
Now there is an interesting idea. Do you really think we haven't already thought of that?
Cool stuff aside, I'd like to hear a C&J rap session. You guys are from Michigan, like Eminem ;)
Um...no. :D
Thank you all very much for the input, guys! Keep it coming! The more input you give, the better they will turn out.
GT KILLER 09-05-2005, 01:46 PM Nascar is more boring than watching paint dry.
Bah!
madwolf 09-06-2005, 12:01 AM You guys need a victime of the day (Like aggiez28, robvas, JasonD, and others. ;)) to pick on or discuss a lounge topic of the day. ;) I'm sure that will spice things up a bit. :D
99_Z_155 09-06-2005, 07:15 PM i just listened to it today and i thought it was kind of cool. I would like to hear alot more about just anything i suppose. Maybe a little trivia or something. Maybe some updates on new parts, install techniques, dyno numbers related to mods etc by real board members.
Oh well, what do i know about podcasting?
JasonD 09-06-2005, 07:20 PM Maybe a little trivia or something. Maybe some updates on new parts, install techniques, dyno numbers related to mods etc by real board members.
Good ideas, we could use some help with that.

Not to mention, we are going to be giving some things away, so we need to come up with ways to do it.
Oh well, what do i know about podcasting?
Probably as much as wek did a little over a week ago. :)
kertong 09-07-2005, 06:49 PM Sorry if it's already been suggested, but I think it'd be pretty cool to pick random phone numbers from that one long "what's your ph#" thread, and quiz them with random camaro/car related questions. If they get all of them right, they win a hat. Of course, this will all be recorded and played back via podcast. :)
JasonD 09-07-2005, 06:57 PM Sorry if it's already been suggested, but I think it'd be pretty cool to pick random phone numbers from that one long "what's your ph#" thread, and quiz them with random camaro/car related questions. Oh man...that is a funny, funny idea.
CCoop8830 09-12-2005, 09:31 PM How much time do you get? Maybe a little trash talking on mustangs but that could go on forever. Put top songs for cruisin and GM updates o and CAMARO updates on the 5th Gen.
JasonD 09-12-2005, 09:45 PM How much time do you get?
About 10 minutes for each session.
Maybe a little trash talking on mustangs but that could go on forever.
True, plus we would rather that our Podcasts try to be a bit on the positive side. :)
Put top songs for cruisin
Not a bad idea...
and GM updates o and CAMARO updates on the 5th Gen.
Not much to cover on the 5th gen, unless you want us to make something up, and there is too many people doing that already.
Thanks for the thoughts!
ChrisFrez 09-13-2005, 06:03 PM Not gonna happen - although I could play you one on my Accordian? ;)
jamilz28 09-13-2005, 06:27 PM talk about how cool i am ;)
MEAN LT1 09-16-2005, 10:00 AM Talk about how cool the LT1 is. I wanna hear some LS1 smack talk. ;)
GT KILLER 09-16-2005, 01:15 PM Not sure if this has already been suggested, but how about a segment titled "Tech Tips"? Each podcast you guys select maybe a frequent problem that people run into repairing minor things on F-bodies, and you explain a helpful hint on how to get it done?
Just something along those lines......
Yossarian14 09-16-2005, 11:00 PM If we were to get a list togather of people who wanted to be called for the podcast like said before, to quiz or something along those line would you guys consider it? This or pick a hot topic and post it in this forum, such as top 10 something and then state the results on the podcast, maybe just a simple poll?
ChrisFrez 09-17-2005, 07:01 AM We aren't setup to be placing calls and recording them - that is why we ask people to send in their questions and comments either via Skype or by just sending a mp3 or wav file to us.
Dave '97 Z28 M6 09-20-2005, 11:50 PM Sorry if it's already been suggested, but I think it'd be pretty cool to pick random phone numbers from that one long "what's your ph#" thread, and quiz them with random camaro/car related questions. If they get all of them right, they win a hat. Of course, this will all be recorded and played back via podcast. :)
Or try "Crank Yankers CZ28 Style".
How 'bout a 10 minute podcast consisting of nothing but the sounds of different members' Camaros (with a brief intro for each). Let everyone hear cams from mild to wild, and different exhaust systems.
DJTrey313 09-21-2005, 05:59 PM I just joined up on the forum, and would like to get more info on the podcasts -- the tech tips suggestion seems to be the best one so far, cause I have a few noob questions. Anyone else here from D-Town?

He does occasional Friday night shows complete with call in guests and music requests. It would be a great combination of talents if you all collaborated a show.
number77 12-17-2005, 01:29 PM I liked how yall talked about defunked cars. Sometimes when I see these cars, I don't know if I'm laughing, or scarred. I also like how someone suggested tech tips. Like, how much better will a car handle, and launch with aftermarket tires. Or, is it better to get just pads, or get an entire aftermarket brake set with rotors/discs and all? Or how much will changing the bushings help a car launch. Like little tips that aren't too costly. I also like the rants.
:)
ws6transam 12-18-2005, 04:09 PM I want to hear some more interviews with folks like J Hunkins, or track owners like Jeff Ledford, or the owners of Milan or US131 motorsports park and what stuff they got going on for next year: Stuff that excites the owners that they want to tell us about. I know it's a national program though, so how about tracking down some coordinators of some quasi-national Camaro events, like the event at Domino farms, or some of the east coast events. I wouldnt mind hearing about stuff like that.
How about informing us of new available F-body products, like the Canadian shop that does Hardcore's carbon fiber work on their race cars: Rumor has it that they have molds for doing carbon fiber replacement panels for the fourth-gen. I would like to hear more about that.
What about your custom wheel venture? How's that going? What about Taner and Roman's shop in Ontario? What's going on there?
F-body news and events. That'd be cool.
