First off, I would like to give a big thanks to:
FireChicken1995, Alan (SSon20s), and 1-bad-z28
for helping me a lot along the way and teaching me, You guys are the best!!

This is the first time i did automotive painting and i expected it to have some flaws but it came out a lot better than i thought it would. Ill admit there are a few flaws here and there but I am 100% pleased for now.

Well, I decided my car needed some paint and body work, it had a big dent and scratch on one quarter panel. The other one had a big dent from someone hitting me with a door and running while it was parked. My bumper had scratches and stress cracks but it came that way so i decided to paint that too.

Also, I did a ttop conversion and i decided i could do a better job on the bondo work there so i fixed that up and painted that as well.

I did all the body work and stuff and got it ready and painted it only to find, the shop gave me the wrong color so this is actually the 2nd time i painted these panels.
btw, i shaved the antenna too so check that out too.

Anyways, heres the pics:

No more door dent, only nice shine (http://clanbbw.com/publicimg/data/images/pp1.jpg)
Check out that reflection (http://clanbbw.com/publicimg/data/images/pp2.jpg)
complete pass side (http://clanbbw.com/publicimg/data/images/pp3.jpg)
Glazed my hood, thought id add a pic of that (http://clanbbw.com/publicimg/data/images/pp4.jpg)
Heres one of the ttop conversion, the camera did something weird to the interior, it looks a lot better in person. (http://clanbbw.com/publicimg/data/images/pp5.jpg)

Enjoy! Im open for discussion.

Looks good. Do you have any kind of write up on what equipment and procedures you used. I want to do a little paint work on my '88 Cougar.

Black is not the hardest color to paint....it is the hardest solid color to make look good because every imperfection will show up. But black looks the best when it's done right. The hardest colors are camillions, candies, and pearls because of the complexity of laying it down evenly.
