Have you guys been seeing lots of HHR's around?

I've been seeing lots of them, at least 2 or 3 per day. And surprisingly, I find them to be very cool.

I have yet to see one driving...........only on the lots.....

Could be because of my location in the Great White North.

Funny you should say that. I was just thinking to myself there's an awful lot of HHRs on the street for just coming out.

I'm begining to see Cobalt coupes on every corner as well. :D

Yes, suddenly as if the flood gates opened, I see them all the time now.

Never before did I see one on the street, then last week while I was in Florida I saw FOUR in one day.

Next day, back in Chicago, four more.

I see alot of Cobalt Sedans around here.

A couple. Haven't seen any on the lots I drive by to work, but according to GMBP, there are a good many available in the Austin metro area.

I've seen a black one and a purple one. It's a gotta have kinda vehicle. I hope my wife likes it, but she hated, I mean hated the PT. I like both.

Interesting factoid ... I'm selling my Mazda sedan, and a guy that test drove owned a newer 2001 PT with the non-turbo engine. He said he was looking to get rid of it because he couldn't get better than 17 mpg out of it. Pitiful. Hopefully the HHR can easily blow that away in a better package.

This one is going to be a hit, it's a nice distinctive little package. A better overall execution than DCX's, but it should be, since it's a little later to the party.

I see them around quite a bit now. The two local dealers I drive past on the way to work has them in the show room for about two days before they sell. I still want one :(

My Chevy dealer FINALY got some in. They have an 2LT in SOM with Chrome package and 2.4 with 5spd manual for 19,2!!! I was floored!!

I see one almost every other day around here...but I hardly ever see any Cobalts.

The HHR is one sweet car :thumb:

How's about a RWD, LS2 HHR?

Btw, I have seen a butt load of Cobalts, both sedan and coupe, around here. And now that HS is starting up, a lot of Cobalts are driving around with 17 year old kids in them.

I've been saying all along that HHR would be a huge hit... even when it was unpopular around here. ;)

And I don't even like retro....

The price is right, the content is there, the colors are right... it gets attention in a price range that most everything else is vanilla....

Yes, Chrysler had the idea first.

Hmmm... makes you wonder what other ideas GM can borrow from another company and do well with.

I got to put a couple hundred miles on one last week while up in Buffalo.
I took some digital pics of it while I was in it driving around.
I'll try to get the pics uploaded to a server and do a write-up on it soon.

Overall, I liked the ride, NVH levels were great (surprisingly so), and step-in was the best part of the car. Controls were a bit strange at first, but I learned them quickly. The Ecotec was peppy, but not super-performance bound... but that's not what most folks will buy this car for anyways so I didn't hold it against the car. Visibility was not so great... tough to see stoplights because the roofline drops so far down onto the winshield area.

One thing for sure - it turned heads everywhere I went! The guys at the plant were in the parking lot 10 minutes after I arrived smoking it over. The most frequent comment I got was "it looks like a PT Cruiser on steroids".

Overall - good job to GM for this one.

Saw one for the first time yesterday, I like it. :) I would definitely consider one in a few years when I'm ready for a new car.

You can rent HHR's from Enterprise. If they are in rental fleets already I can see the HHR being one of Chevrolets top sellers.

Seen none on the road yet, and only one sitting in a dealers car lot.

I was specifically looking out for them on our Winnipeg to Laredo trip August 6 & 7 and the trip back home Aug 19 & 20. Saw lots of SSR's on the Chevy lots but not a single HHR.

Once GM realizes that they'll have an even bigger hit on their hands with an AWD option we'll take a good look at one.

Kudos to GM for not slapping on roof rack on it.

I've seen a few HHRs. West Coast Customs modified one for a car show I attended a few weeks ago. WCC made it ugly (and so did the tree that fell on it before I arrived), but they're decent from the factory.

I just don't like the three-letter naming convention. HHR reminds me of SSR, which is fugly, and damages my opinion of the HHR by association.

Tons of Cobalts and Ions around here.

Saw a black C6 Z06 yesterday. That was hot!

I see a few HHRs but man I see a TON of new explorers everyday, oh yeah the plant in only a few miles from my house. :p

Lets just say the TB better be getting a total refresh soon.

Like was said earlier, down here in Orlando, they are appearing everywhere. Along with Cobalts of every flavor, coupes, sedans and even supercharged SS's.

I've seen at least 3 on the road up here, and it only took 2 days to sell the Daytona blue metallic one in the showroom up here...I'll admit, from the pics I had seen...wow was it ugly. But in person...

Saw my first '06 Malibu today, as an LT model in dark blue with black cloth. Now we're talking :D Nice looking car...the nose adds so much to the appeal of it.
