I have a 2002 Camaro Z28 with a "35th Anniversary Edition" badge on the dash, right next to the ASR on/off switch. Pics at the link in my sig.
I can find lots of information about the 35th Anniversary SS, but nothing on the 35th Anniversary Z28. I'm curious to know if my car came with anything that normal Z28's did not.
Does anyone know?

Too my knowledge, all 2002 Camaros came with that badge and the really sad thing is, most dealers will sell 2002 Camaros as 35th Anniversary Models eventhough the only true 35th Anniversary Camaro was the Red SS with silver stripes. Other then that your car is just considered a 2002 Z28. If I am wrong someone will chime in.

Yes I believe that is ture, the only 35th Anniversity Camaro is the red SS with the silver racing strips that fade into the checkered. All '02 Camaros and Z28 came with 35th badges, but nothing special from a '01 model

I'm not so sure that all '02s are 35th Anniversary Editions. On KBB.com, if you price out a 2002 Camaro, the "Select a Trim" page gives the following options:
Coupe 2D
Convertible 2D
Z28 Coupe 2D
Z28 Convertible 2D
35th Anniversary Coupe 2D
35th Anniversary Convertible 2D
The SS package is one of the option packages on the next page. Regardless, if I price my car out as a 35th Anniversary Coupe, it comes out about $1500 more than if I do it as a Z28 Coupe. So, I figured there must be some difference.
Does anyone have a 2002 Camaro without the 35th Anniversary Edition badging?

My '02 Z28 has the 35th Anniversary Badge as well - I'm sure they all did/do as 2002 is/was the 35th anniversary year of the Camaro
Is there anything special about those cars? Nostalgia wise Im sure there is for some, and it definitely looks cool when people are in my car and see the badge, but mechanically there's no difference(s) that I know of.
The 35th Anniversary Edition Camaros were (from what I could tell when I ordered my '02 Z28) decked out SS's and ran about $10K more (in Canada) than a base Z28.
There are two 35th anniversary rag tops here in town, which isn't bad for a town with a population of 5200 including outlying areas . . . but personally I think my hard top Z28 looks better, I was going to order an SS but I didn't like the look and didn't think the other upgrades were worth the money and I don't care for the racing stripes on the anniversary edition cars at all
