ls1 m6 console fitment in lt1

what mod/s are needed to install an LS1 M6 center console in an LT1? I read whre someone needed to fab something for fitment but wasnt really sure.

There is an install guide. No fabbing is required to make it fit. There will be a decent sized gap between the console and the dash after its installed. People have tried to fab up something to go in there and fill the gap. I personally made a CD holder to go in there, but then i put a TA dash in my car and now the gap is gone. PS its not an LS1 console because 97 camaros got them first. :p

ls1 console is easier than typing the last of the lt1 consoles that looks like all the ls1 consoles
