I had the same thing happen to me. I just superglued it back in, it held up for about 3 years and just recently fell out again. Other than buying a new ttop thats the only way I could figure out how to fix it...

There is a clip that holds the lock cylinder in there.
Just go to the dealer and buy a new clip.

Yeah they just require a C-clip if i remember right. Its pretty cheap. When i first got my car it was missing the pass. side t-top lock so i had to go buy one and all the corresponding parts. It wasn't too expensive even through my local dealer.

How do you get it back in? do I need to remove the plastic piece and latch? How do I remove the latch?
Thanks, this JUST happened to me. :(

Jumped the thread too soon.
I took the screws out of each side (one on each side) and then bent the plastic piece as far back as I could and found the c-clip inside. I took it out put the lock back in and once again bent it back as far as I could then put the clip back on... I bent it in before putting it back in so it should hold for a while.
