Normal for that 30AMP circuit breaker to heat up?

My defroster works fine, I’m only trying to determine if it’s normal for the 30-amp circuit breaker to heat up.

I replaced the switch, connector, 30-amp circuit breaker, and can’t locate any kind of short.

This is a request for a simple scientific experiment, and ask everyone to participate with feedback.

With your driver’s door open, If you remove your fuse panel, click on the defroster switch and touch the 30 amp fuse circuit breaker to see if it gets warm or hot after a 2-5 minutes.

THANKS!

Yes it is normal for it to heat up to a certain degree. Look at it this way the circuit breaker is designed to "open" or quit sending power at 30amps. Since it takes time to heat the grid up on the rear window the circuit breaker has an amount of current that is going through it that gradually gets higher but not yet reaches 30 amps so it doesn't open. The reason it heats up is the friction of the atoms moving (current). Hope this helps ya out.
