I'm not sure if this is the right forum to be posting this in, but I've got a slight problem. I'm trying to get rid of my 1999 SS for 11,900 (autotrader listing (http://http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=186080570&dealer_id=56623138&car_year=1999&make=CHEV&distance=25&lang=en&max_price=12000&model=CAM&end_year=2006&min_price=1&certified=&bkms=1125078915555&address=32221&search_type=both&advanced=&start_year=1998&isp=y&cardist=0#vdptop) ) but I'm having an issue with my a/c. It blows cold after a recent complete evac/recharge, but it only blows on your feet and defrost (at the same time). Also my cruise control stopped working at the same time. I believe that this is a vacuum leak but I am not sure. What do you guys (or girls) think? It's a cheap fix if it is just a vacuum line, but I wouldn't even know where to start looking. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks alot

There is a vaccum T by the a/c unit in the engine bay. I would start there.

"Advanced Tech" isn't the correct choice. Moving to "General F-Body Tech......"

Only blowing on your feet/defrost definitely sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere, might even be under the dash. With the cruise control going out at the same time I'd also take a look at the "A/C CRUISE" fuse just to be sure.

I believe the cruise control is completely electronic now days. I've messed with the cruise control module and there isn't any vaccum going to it.

By the way, I have lowered the price to $10,499 for my SS, from my original post, if anyone is interested (or anyone you know)...

AC is on the same fuse as the cruise. When my cruise doesnt work, neither does the AC. mine likes to burn that fuse. It doesnt explain why it blows only in certain spots, but there is a connection between the two.
