Your opinion of cowl induction hoods on 93-97 Trans am's?

I don't really see many at all with cowl induction hoods. I see the slp ram-air type hoods. Well I have the polished elbow, maf and slp cai. So I dont really wanna throw that out and stick a plastic ram-air box in there.

So I'm going looking for your opinions... Why dont I see more of these type hood?

Because most people get the ram-air hood? or most people don't like them?

There's a reason you don't see them with cowl hoods often :barf:

Very rarely do I like a cowl hood on a 4th gen F-body........it's gotta fit just right, with other mods to the car maybe......but if I had to choose between stock and cowl....I'd definitely go with stock.

Cowl hoods belong on old-school muscle cars, IMO, not 4th gen F-bodies.

I just dont like the cowl induction hoods on trans ams/firebirds, those cars were meant to have ram-air hoods it seems.

i even like cowl hoods.. but on a trans/am.. NO.. :p wander what the harwood style cowl would look like on them though :think:
