TTop noise

Senerio: Ttops off. Drive to the beach. Cruise around for a while. Drive home. 100 miles, and a good 5 hours with the ttops off. Put the ttops off, go to bed.

In the morning, when i drive to work, there is a rattling comming from were the ttops clamp to the car.

If i leave them on for a while, the rattling goes away. but comes back once i have them off for a while again.

has anyone experienced this?

Indeed I have.

Try using spark-plug boot grease and lube the little black bushings that the t-tops lock onto, if that don’t work lube a light coat inside the t-tops black rubber and I bet the rattle goes away. :D
