swap 97 console into 96

I kno I know, use the search.. I searched several times for this but I never came across any post that actually had a site or instructions on how to do the conversion.. I'm just looking to convert hte center console for now.. If anyone knows of a site that has pictures of the process or instructions thatd be great.. thanks

I understad it's a fairly straightforward swap- it's one of the things I'm planning on as soon as finances allow. I have heard of quite a few people who have done it and have never heard of any real problems, so it can't be that difficult, although I would like to see a write-up.

Sure would be nice to have real cupholders and that little storage tray up front. ;)
