I raced this dude a awhile back in the Camaro with the 75 shot. He murdered me out of the hole but I freight-trained him on the top end taking the win.
So now he has his 2.3 stroker motor done and his massive new turbo. Oh yeah and the nitrous that wasnt hooked up, he just purges it to look cool.
I roll out in the Mustang and he wants a dig run of course, Im not really complaining as Ive got the fats and skinnies on with MT E/T radials on the back.
The start was the stupidest thing ever, we couldnt do a flagger and he didnt think I would be able to hear his horn over his two step so somebody down the road was supposed to flash their light 3 times. Well that didnt happen and he said just go, so I went and he didnt, so I got out of it immediatly about which time he went. Needless to say he got a huge jump and my dumbass chased.
He probably got 5 cars on me at the beginning. Once I got into 3rd it seemed like I was reeling him in pretty good, but all of a sudden he just lifted. He said he blew the tranny and it wouldnt accelerate in 3rd any longer. He later said he was going to have to drive it home in 3rd only so Im not really sure on that one.
He beat me no doubt, but I hardly see it as a definitive race. He said he made 650 awhp without the nitrous. I dynoed 488 rwhp and was running race gas and about 7* more timing so Im guessing I was somewhere in the 525-550 rwhp area.
Later I raced my buddies 99 T/A M6 from a highway roll. It has every bolton known to man but stock internalled. He shoots I dont really know how much nitrous but shoots in none the less. His best time is a 11.6@122 on full street tires not DRs but street tires.
He jumped because he thought my rev-match was WOT so he got out a few cars on me. I managed to get back even with him before the end of 4th but I couldnt get in front. Very fast car, either a factory freak or a very good hustle.
