I have for sale a 1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 Rolling Chassie. Power windows,Power Locks,Power Driver's Seat, T-Tops, Bose CD. Color is Quasar Blue Metallic. Everything is there except for the Drivetrain (ie.engine, transmission) And the wiring harness for the LT1 motor that was orginally in it.
History: I got the car March 6,2004 in an even trade for an 1990 Camaro that I had. When I got the car the owner had told me he was the 2nd owner, and he got it from a salvage yard and restored it. The only item he did not replace was the radiator support and it is still bent up. But he had replaced everything else and got a new paint job. The paint job was factory Quasar Blue Metalic done at Macco. Now let's move forward in time to last August. I'm driving to work on the interstate one morning and traffic was slow going, no more than 20mph, when everybody decided to lock up their brakes. I did to but the roads where wet and I slid under a FORD Explorer. I didn't do any damage to the FORD but I took all of the damage, on the hood and front nose piece, and drivers side fender. No where else. Then later that day I found out I had a major oil leak. I replaced the valve cover gaskets, and that slowed down the leak but did not stop it. It was a daily driver up untill 5 weeks ago when the starter went out. I then discover what was causing my oil leak when I replaced the starter, A Blown Head gasket!! I did not have time to rebuild the motor and a friend offered me $1800 for the complete LT1/4L60 setup. And I took it, and ran with it. So now I just have a roller and I don't need it. I didn't care for this body style of Camaro anyway, to me it looks like an oversized GEO Storm.
Included: Everything that I own that is 4th gen Camaro related, extra set of tail lights(97-02 style w/the amber on the lens.) and the complete body of this 4th gen. Even the smashed up hood and ripped nose piece. All put back together.
Good: Mint interior, excellent paint over 90% of the body. Driver's side fender was replaced.
Bad: No Drivetrain setup. When the oil was leaking it blew back over the rear bumper cover and now the paint is chipping/chipped off. Tires have 75% tread life left.
The car does come with a Indiana Title. So really All you need to do is put in a Drivetrain setup, get it titled in your name, and your on the road! And as a helpful henry that I am, when I sign the title over I'll put down that you bought the car for $100 so that way you don't have to pay too much sales tax. In indiana the sales tax is 6% so that would be only $6 if you lived in this state.
Now on to the sales talk.
I would like to get $2000 for this but I will take no less than $1600. I am selling this Roller locally, This car is being sold AS IS/ WHERE IS with no drivetrain, This is pick up only. Paying in CASH ONLY! No personal checks, no money orders, no traveler checks, and no cashiers checks, please.
Now with that out of the way. I don't mean to sound rude its just that I have sold a car in the past on thirdgen.org and I had alot of trouble with the buyer. Alot would have been avoided if I did it like this the last time. It's only to protect me (The Seller), and you (The Buyer). If any special pictures are needed, please ask and I will supply you with that picture. Any questions: please don't be affraid to ask. I'm here to sell something and make new friends.
