I had my car dyno tuned (n/a) at thunder racing a few months ago and i'm about to add nitrous (wet) to the car. Is it bad to run nitrous with my timing advanced this much. I'm pretty sure he said he advanced it 24 degrees. If not, what could i do without spending too much cash?

I would find out what your timing was set to. If you want to leave your NA tune alone and just pulling some timing when you spray take a look at the LS1 Timing Tuner:

That thing is a good idea but money is the problem. Is 24 degrees advanced too much to spray?

LT1's love timing. At least that's what I hear. I run ALOT more advance at WOT than that. I'm thinking I run a little much though. I run like 46 @6k WOT - N/A

I'm afraid not. The LS1 doesn’t have an aftermarket ignition system where as you can do one on a LT1 (and pull timing that way).

Try logging it if you can and see how much timing you have. Did they do your tune conservatively, as 24 isn’t very high. Depending on how the engine takes it and everything (compression, what octane fuel, and so on) most of the time we shoot for 27 - 32 degrees.

I called thunder racing today and they told me that they dont go to extremes with the timing and i should be fine spraying with their tune. Hopefully thats true before i start spraying. Would 24 adanced be too much to spray?? They also told me they wouldnt go above 150 shot without changing the pistons and rods (125 at most).
So i'll probably stick with that. If you guys have any advice i'll take it!!

Also i was going to change my fuel pump before i started spraying and when i go to look where i would cut the sheet metal on top of the tank to change it i find out its been cut, so i'm sure the guy before me changed it. Is there any way of finding out what kind of pump it is?? I dont want to buy another pump if the one on there can support the hp.

Look under the car and check around for a "hotwire" kit. It would be coming off the batter or alternator and make its way to the fuel pump, usually along the fuel lines. If you don't see anything you could pull the pump out of the tank. A Reacetronix pump will have a red anodized shell around it. If it's silver it could be either a stock pump (the guy before you might of put a stock one back in) or a plain jane Walbro pump. If it's a Walbro pump with out a hotwire kit going to it then it'll act just as a stock fuel pump.
