Two words..."race weight".
That likely includes the driver.
Also...that car is far from stock, with the cage, exhaust, etc. it is hard to determine where the final vehicle weight is.

My SS weighs 3700 with me in it , i am a fairly heavy guy , so my car would weigh little less than 3500 with me out

You're looking at race weights that include drivers, hence the heavy weight....

Show's the SS CONVERTIBLE with all the options weighing in at 3574 without driver

That's right in there.

My car's registration says that it weighs 3,420 lbs., which sounds about right.

I have a August 2002 issue of Mustangs and Fast Fords where they ran a 02 SS against a 03 Cobra. They weighed the camaro @ 3411lb's/3580lb's with driver. Though the cobra was running 12.79's@106mph and the ss was running 13.2@106mph. Good issue. :)

I guess they must not have opted to run the factory freak SS and Z28 for that issue which they previously ran to 12s. :D

The had a picture with a flag pole saying their was a 25-30 MPH headwind so i figured the times were off a tenth or two.
