what kind of internal work can be done to a 3.8

From what Ive seen, the only things you can do internally to a 3.8L are cam shaft, new heads already ported and port stock intake/exhaust. Is this all? Is it even right? Can I get a new intake manifold from anywhere? Ive been looking for new heads and a cam but I can not for the life of me find them anywhere. What kind of performance gains come from these things? Any help is appreciated!

You can all ways bore and stroke that sh*t.
You can find a after market crank with a little more stroke, bore the engine and get some after market or custom size pistons.
And turn your 3.8 into a 4.2 or 4.3.
You could get a little over .1 liter from boring alone the rest would come from the longer stroked crank shaft.

3.8L internals out of a supercharged GTP are interchangable, they are a little bit sturdier then your stock ones, also heads and cams there is supwersixmotorsports, but I think I have seen more people with engien problems thn with gains.

Preformance auto ware house sells a 3.8 cam, I don't know how different it is from a stock cam.
I think they have engine kits too.

alot can be done to a 3.8, but i would not bore one. i guess if someone really has the know how it might be fun for them, but i would never do it. i am very happy with my heads and cam.
