For the record, I did not post the video because I wanted to rub it in. I simply thought it was a cool video. I enjoyed listening to the newbie street racer and his comments. He didn't have a clue. How often does a Z06 owner need the 3 honk method taught to him?
Granny shifting a Z06!?! I even question if the vette was a Z06. Nevertheless, I do not want the members to think that I'm a troll that posts every video he sees of a Ford beating a Bowtie.

actually alot of us do autocross so in a sense we do buy them for there stopping abilities...

You need to listen again... what the Vette owner says is "Let's do it again, your Fokken sh*t kicks ass - what's the whining, the supercharger? Fock that thing makes noise."

The only disrespect shown was by whomever put the video together. Since when is a Z06 an overpriced Vette? It seems to me that it's clearly been called the best bang for the buck overall performance vehicle, in stock condition, for quite some time.

Lots of cars can be made faster cheaper, but very few, if any, can match it for overall performance for the dollar right off the showroom floor.

Last time I checked, 1LE Camaros were the cars to beat in whatever AutoX class they run in, and the following video shows they might be pretty darn good on a road track too.

I'm wondering about this video. Whoever edited it obviously has something against the vette and is all proud about the Cobra. However, if they really didn't know each other, how did the video get from the Corvette passenger's camera onto the Mustang owner's computer for editing?

The non-working speedo is iffy too. He's either keeping it "low mileage" or something isn't finished.

I ran againest a Cobra last night at the track. He had a KB blower and other goodies so I was toast from the get go. I ran a mediocre 13.30 @ 103 vs. his 11.60 @ 124. Funny part is I raced the same guy several months ago when he had a 95 Cobra with me getting the victory by a good margin. He remembered my car and said "sweet revenge" before dusting my ass.
