I need help to get my 1/4 mile to go down

HI i have went to the track the last two fridays the best time i can get out of my 99 SS is a 13.6 @ 105.6 with a 2.13 60ft on street tires Is this what i should be running for the mods on the car ?
Slp lt headers, slp y-pipe and gutted cats, slp loudmouth catback exhaust with resonator not muffler, slp maf, slp whisper airbox lid, skip shift delete, strutbrace, zo6 clutch disc and pressure plate, new flywheel and slave cylinder

the 60' isn't bad at all for a 6 speed on street tires but the 105 trap seems a tad low for a LS1 with a lid and full exhaust... What was the weather like? If it was really hot and humid that may explain it.

temp was 78 humidity was 29 absolute baro was 29.15 also i was runnin at 210 degrees cuz i need a 160 stat and i had 20 psi in tires ! my fastest mph has only been a 106 i think car needs tunes i also have 107k miles on it

yeah I would see about getting it tuned, then maybe a LS6 intake. :)

I have a mild camshaft for it also but no valve springs yet its a comp cams extreme rpm cam .530 lift 212 intake duration and 218 exhaust duration . do u think that will make much difference after i get it in i was told by the speed shop it will produce about 35 more hp and its the biggest cam i can go without altering with computer but will still need tuned i heardt the the f.a.s.t lsx intake is better then the ls6 intake its the same build but gives ya a few xtra hp

FAST is alot more expensive then an LS6 though. I think you should be knocking on the 12's door or in the the 12's with those mods. Have you had a tune up lately? 2.13 sixty isn't that terrible, but it seems like your trap speed is low. Stock cars trap like you did.

No tune up lately i did change cylinder 1-4 mplugs but i jus cant get 5-8 f.a.s.t intake i can get for 900 ls6 around 300 as i kno 00ss what was ur 60ft time ???

Is This All The help you guys can give me ??? does anyone have any ideas for me or something i can try at the track to run better ???

A Performance shop in the area told me to replace fuel filetr he had a ls1 and he did that and it made a big difference does anybody have info on that subject ?

I wouldn't think fuel is your problem, but it seems like you might be falling off some where. You should be trapping higher, and that sixty isn't suggesting that your launch is terrible. I'd try to do a tune up and see, but I can't imangine losing 6 tenths by just doing a tune up.

what all should a tune up consist of i have taylor ignition wires and jus changed drivers side plugs cant get passengers side plugs tho
