I got a new Edelbrock perfromer carb and I need to wire up the electric choke. I know I have to ground the negative, but what should I hook the positive up to?

You hook the positive up to switched ignition. Switched ignition is +12 volts with the key on. IRONFIST 08-05-2005, 11:55 AM Yep, don't hook it up to a straight source that stays on... or your choke will always be on. Thanks. :) TraceZ 08-14-2005, 01:25 AM Okay, so I just hook it up to anyhting that goes on when the key is only in the "on" position? Can someone give me an example? Thanks. :) The + lead to your coil is +12v ignition. You can also look at your fuse block, it will have a couple spots on it to plug in additional circuits. they are labeled 'ign'. | ||
