A friend of mine here at school has a friend who is trying to sell a Zex nitrous kit (practically brand new) for $300. It was on his car when he bought it and over the phone he said he thought it was a wet kit which is exactly what I wanted and I was going to buy it. However, I just got pictures and it looks like there is only one line going into the nozzle so i think its a dry kit.

I am pretty new to nitrous but from what I have read I wanted to go with a wet kit because it seemed a little safer since you aren't relying on your stock injectors and such. I want to run a 100 shot. Do you guys think I should go for this dry kit??? Please let me know about the pros and cons of a wet vs. dry for a 100 shot on an LT1. Thanks.

You can get a brand new wet nitrous kit for as low as $399, so if you're wanting wet, why not go that route?

Dynojet kits start at that price. I can't speak on their quality, but they seem to be fairly popular here.

The only problem with a wet kit is pooling, then BOOM !!!! :o
As most of us know, nitrous is unflamable, do a dry kit is a lot saffer. If I was you, I go dry!!

The only reason I was leaning towards a wet kit is because I am somewhat nervous about relying on the stock injectors and fuel pump. If I were to run a 100 shot, would that even be worth worrying about??? I never really thought about the fuel pooling either.

You can run a 100 shot without upgrading your stock fuel system (I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong,) and if ran in conjunction with a fuel pressure safety switch should keep you from running too lean unexpectedly and blowing your motor.

Fuel puddling typically happens when the intake velocity is low. That's why most kit manufacturers recommend only using nitrous above 3000 RPM.
