Swapping ET streets to break them in better?

Just got my ET streets mounted (not the radials) and one of the owners of the shop next door (he has a 9 sec stang) was swinging by and recommended swapping the tires to the opposite side after a couple runs to help break them in, so the tires get to wrinkle both ways a few times before you leave them on a certain side... Seems to make alot of sense to me, just wondering how many others out there do that.

I always kept them facing the same way. I even marked them so I wouldnt mix them up.

From the MT web site. It's in the FAQ.

Q: Should Mickey Thompson slicks be rotated side to side?
A: This should only be needed if you are getting excessive furring, shredding or tearing of the tread rubber. Mickey Thompson suggests that you rotate every 25-30 passes if needed. Larger tires and high horsepower cars may need to rotate more often.
