Good night of racing for me last night at Quaker City Raceway, ended up winning the class and $25 by the end of the night.
Dialing in at 12.67 - car ran the numbers and I was hitting decent trees with a best of .509 for the evening.

Yeah weaker street legal class that I entered into late just to check the track out. Next year I will more than likely move into the next class up so that it gets a little more competitive and the money is better.

I was thinking the same thing. If I have 3 cars in the class (2 rounds), a win is still worth $30. The more cars in the class, the higher the payouts.
Street, Box and No Box all pay the same price to race. Payouts are all based on the amount of cars in the class.

We had a field of 40 last night in my class - not sure Quaker pays out by the number of cars.

40 cars in a class and the winner only gets $25. What's it cost to enter? $2

And I thought our payouts sucked compared to the entry fee.
Yours
40 cars at $15 = $600 with the winner getting $25
Mine
40 cars at $60 = $2400 with the winner getting $400 but I'd never see 40 cars in my class. Runner up would get $200 and each of the semi's would get $100 for a total of $800 of $2400 going for prize money. Winner and runner up also get trophies.
On the same payout ratio, you should have won $100. Your track is more greedy than ours :) At least it doesn't cost you and arm and a leg just to get on track.

Our last Street tire shootout.
$25 to race $15 to buy back $1000 to win $300 runner up
Over 200 cars= $5000 + first or second round buy backs

That's an event tho right? Out events payout that much but I won a standard points night - not an event.
The Mr Gasket Pro Am series is running on the 21st with a $2500 payout.

Racing is the fun part, winning some cash sure is fun though :)
