Let's just say someone were to plan and organize a totally unofficial and nonsanctioned "Cannonball Run"-style road rally open to all vehicles and covering about two hundred or so miles on PA roads with, possibly, some decent prize money involved. Anybody here be interested in running?

Entry fee would be around $100, so if there were 11-12 people interested there would be a nice payout for first and second places.

If we were racing on the streets for 1200 bucks that would be quite dangerous no?
haha

Here's how I figure it would go down: Cars will start from a predetermined place in, like, five minute intervals. Your run to the first "checkpoint" will be timed individually. It's not just how fast you go to get there -- since you also have to plan the best route (and not get lost) in order to minimize your time. At the first checkpoint, you will receive the location of the "finish". Again, you have to use skill to make it there in the shortest time (hey, a quick car won't hurt either :) ). Once you reach the finish, your times from the two legs are combined and the person with the shortest time is declared the winner. Then we all go out to eat

I think there are a couple people who are seriously interested right now... anybody can PM or email me for more information.
