Well, I guess my clutch sucks, cause it spun both runs.

First run

13.55 @105.5
2.3 60 ft

sec run

13.48 @105.5
2.2 60ft

Ill grab a lid and catback and go back. Any clutch suggestions?

How often do you go to the track? How serious are you about racing? How many miles on the clutch?

If you go to the track a couple of times a year just get a stock replacement. Keep it simple. If you race more than that read through some of the tech forums on aftermarket clutches. You will see a wide variety of experiences. Then check with your local shops an see if they have had experience with some of the aftermarket stuff. Keep in mind people motivations, exercise some common sense, and educate yourself before you spend a bunch of money.

Is the clutch slipping? Or is it tire smoke? If the mods in your sig are an indication, your mph is around normal which would make me think your clutch is working...

I usually get about 100 passes in a year. But I just picked up the 99, so it was my first time out. I think I was just used to the SPEC stage 3 in the Iroc, so Ill give it another shot.

Otherwise, Im thinking Mcleod or SPEC despite the "chatter".

what kind of tires are you running? with a 2.0 60ft that would be 13.1@106-107

Those were with BFG KDWS, so about the same as the stock F1s. Not great compared to my bf drags or nittos, but they should still be capable of atleast a 2.09 60 ft with a 6 spd.

When my car was lightly modded I switched to a Centerforce. This is going back over 5 years at this point... I ended up with seven differnt installations, two sets of hydraulics, and even a mating of stock and Centerforce pieces... It was a nightmare. The stock clutch wouldn't really hold the power and the Centerforce would simply stop shifting when it was warm. I had three different shops involved by the end of it and Centerforce denied all possibility that theri product could possibly have any problems at all.

I ended up switching to an automatic.

If I were to do it again I would simply go with the very best unit I could find regardless of the price or drivability issues.

I feel you on the centerforce, had a dual fric go out in the iroc in 1,000 miles. They are crap.
