Just looking for suggestions on what to clean my interior with. I'm trying to get all the old armor all and other crap off of it basically. Then I'll go over it with a good protectant.

What can I use to CLEAN my interior?unvc92camarors 07-24-2005, 04:22 PM Just looking for suggestions on what to clean my interior with. For the rest of your interior, you could use a mit, a soapy mix in a 5 gal bucket, a brush and a wet vac. Scrub the hell out of it and wet vac or otherwise dry right after. Works on door panels, carpet, seats, etc. Careful of speakers etc. Overall use common sense! Detailing is far from rocket science. I mean take a look at some of the guys that are doing it professionaly... mystic-t/a 08-03-2005, 01:32 AM The nifty thing about armor all is that its water soluble. Use a damp rag and go at it. I mean take a look at some of the guys that are doing it professionaly... Hey, whats that suposed to mean? ;) As for the armor all removal, why exactly are you removing it? Is it because of all the lies about it will crack your plastic and crap. That is a load of crap! At least it is now. And for stripping it I would use soapy water in a spray bottle and just wipe it off. I would not recomend using a lot of water, due to things called electronics, they dont mix well with water, wether you have a vacuum or not. If you want more info on professional detailing, from guys that know what they are talking about go to autopia.org you will be on that site for weeks learning all kinds of stuff. Before this site I thought I knew about detailing, but now I realized I didn't know crap. I can now say I do know quite a bit about detailing. | ||
