What will it take to get my brakes working again.

Durring my tubular K-member/A-arm install i removed the front callipers/spindles and just let the brake lines drain out into a bucket and left them hang.

My car is non-traction control and has had the ABS INOP light on for pushing a year, and the Brake light i believe. I was reading in my Chilton's manual that inorder to bleed the ABS system you cannot have the ABS INOP light on. I have tryed changing the rear brake lights and checking the ground but no dice.

The brakes seem to work fine, but i have never locked them up too see if the ABS would pulse.

So am i going to have to take it to a dealer and have them read the ABS codes and have that fixed before i can bleed the abs/brakes?

I believe you can fully bleed the system; the ABS module has 2 bleeder valves on it; bleed those and then bleed the four brake calipers, starting from the farthest point from the reservoir. As far as the brake/ABS lights, get the code scanned; there can be a dozen+ reasons for the lights (dirty ABS sensors, burnt ABS wires, malfunctioning ABS module, etc).
