Ok I'm about to buy an SS rear end with better gears and a torsen posi differential. I need to know what all I’m ganna have to do to swap my stock one out and put this one on. I know a lot of you guys have done this and it dosent take all that long to do. It has no brakes on it or anything. I’m just swapping rear end to rear end. I have all the tools I need, I just need some info on how to. I know the higher gears will slightly mess with me speedometer, but I really don’t care. Anyone know how much the speed will change though if I’m going from 3.23s to 3.42s. But anyone got any tips? Do's and Don’ts? All input will be appreciated. thanks guys!

get a big breaker bar for some of those really hard to get going suspesion components.

3.42s, mine is off, but averages abotu 5 mph faster then what I am dong and the speed limter hits around 110 instead of 118.

its not that noticeable.

I took the torque arm off with the 2 piece driveshaft attached and all still attached to the rear axle. Made it easeir to get that hard to get swing bearing bolt.

I did mine by myself Christmas Eve last yesr! took 10 hours to swap both cars. its real simple, aside from the brakes if you have drums. the hardest part was supporting it when all the bolts were off! little tricky by yourself:D Just remember where the bolts are and where they go and you will be fine. Its just real labor intensive and a pain in the a$$. Nothing tricky about it!
