CARBED cammed LT4 track times

ok its been a long time waitng for me and im sure a few guys have been waintg to see what it would of done...well i got 4 runs in..they were have some timing problems so i only have 60ft 1/4 and trap

1st race..

60ft 2.43 ...first time launching it spun its ass off
1/4 13.22
TS 116.77

2nd race

60ft 2.23 ...bogged a little then took off and spun
1/4 12.86
TS 115.64

3rd race

60ft. 2.09...spun very little and didnt bog best 60 of the bunch
1/4 12.54
TS 115.12

4th race

60ft. 2.15....spun a little more then 3rd run
1/4 12.61
TS 115.23


overall im pretty happy with it so far...this is with a box stock 650DP with stock jets and everything....with some tuning its got another 2mph in it easy...i didnt powershift it so theres another 1.5-2 tenths but i dont wanyto break it so thats not gonna happen....im going back soon with some slicks so maybe i can get a low low 12...its got the power for an 11 but like i said im not gonna break it for a time slip....
when i put it together i was shooting for mid 12's so i met my goal, and it can only get faster with traction and tuning...

Those numbers look pretty good, if you can get that 60ft down it will help. Your MPH looks real good, and is evidence that your car has more in it thats for sure. Powershift it, and hook it alittle better and you should be in the 11's for sure.

Sounds like a fun combo that's haulin' pretty good. What are your RPM shiftpoints? Even some stock sized drag radials should put you into the 1.90-2.00 range with a bog or slight spin type launch. Goodluck!

when my car had the 305 in it i was cuttin 1.95 with these same tires so i know they have grip to them..just this motor is makin 200 more HP and 150 lb ft.so naturally its gonna be harder to hook up lol...i powershift it on the street but it just lites the tires up...im not gonna do it at the track becasue i dont want to break my tranny..i have my revlimter at 6,300 and i shift between 6,100 and 6,200...i can powershift at 6,200 and itll never touch the revlimiter...

my buddy has some all out slicks that im gonna bolt on and go from there...if i can get another 2-3 tenths from the launch i have a real shot at 11's

of course...although there will be no revlimter sidesteps lol...ill hold the rpms at say 3 grand dump it then floor it...shouldnt be to hard on it :D
