I took some pics of my Z28 in case any of you are interested. 3 coats of Zaino is on. Only thing left I have to do is the windows. Maybe if I'm really ambitious, I'll get up early during the sunrise for the ultimate pictures.

Wow! I've never seen a late 4th gen look so mean! All it needs is teeth in the grill and people would run from it

(that's a compliment, not an insult)

Good lookin' paint. :thumb:

Did you do any prep work or just the 3 coats of Z2?

Since I had some Zaino on from last summer, it didn't take too long to prep the car. I spent about 2 hours washing and claying the car. I don't really enjoy the prep work, but I LOVE doing the waxing.

I just added 2 more pictures. You gotta love what a good digital camera can do :D Maybe I should send some of these high res pics into Zaino. Some of their pictures look like they were taken from cell phone! ;)

Geez, that is a really attractive car. Have you ever thought of putting an SS spoiler on it though? I'm not really liking that Super Style spoiler, but at least you don't have euro tail lights .

Katana,
I have a question. Is that the factory paint (with the exception of the spoiler and valance panels)? What pre-Zaino prep did you do?....wet sanding, polishing, etc. I guess that was several questions.

That is probably the most reflective non-black car I have ever seen. Looks great.

Brangeta, yes, my wife and I considered the SS spoiler too. But we had committed to this wing, had it painted, wired up, and installed. At first the wing was a bit agressive for her, but it grew on her to the point where she didn't think it was worth the money to downgrade the wing to the SS spoiler.
However, if we could do it over, we would have gone with the more subtle SS spoiler.

Thanks for all the compliments. Yes, this is the original paint. It has not been wet sanded or anything (orange peel is still present). Just a lot of TLC, good driving (not tailgaiting), washing, claying, and Zaino.
