I bought the car in late Spring 2000 from a Mercedes dealer....The car had 11,000 miles on it then. Some executive had it as his toy and never drove it. It was garaged most of the time. The story is that his wife made him get rid of it because it was taking up garage space. I guess he traded it in for a new Mercedes. Needless to say the dealer wanted to unload it since they weren't too keen on American Muscle. The car was spotless then (and still is). The car was my daily driver in NC for one year and sits in storage 6-7 months out of the year now that I live in Michigan. I have put about 1200 miles on it a year for the last (4) years. I drive it like it was meant to be driven, but in general it has been babied since I have owned it.
