I have an 87 Iroc with a 350 swap into it. I feel like there isn't enough power for what the motor has done. It seems as if its not performing NEARLY as well/fast as it should be. All the internals are done (cam, forged 12:1 pistons), Magnaflow catback, hollowed cat, Holley Street Avenger Carb, Mallory Ignition, Moroso Distributor, Wires and Coil, Accel Plugs, 4.11 gears, rebuilt tranny. I dont know what it could be. It seems as if there is not enough power for the work that was done. my moms Lincoln seems faster, and thats a 4.7 V8, mines a 5.7 V8. odd, anyone have any suggestions on what it might be?

Also, will headers open this up?

Yes and how about a stall converter. Mine never accelerated until 2,800-3,200 rpm (when the cam turned on) I got myself a 3,500 stall and it was like unleashing a monster.

Headers willl make a BIG difference the stock manifolds and shorty headers are a restriction, and even more of a restriction with performance engine mods. get some LT's on that thing, and a stall converter. Should make a world of difference, thos shoule have been the first 2 things that should have been done.
